That's right! I've decided to kick things up a bit by starting my own paper products business! I really didn't need another thing on my plate but MEH! haha, we'll see how it goes! You can find out more about SHE'S BATTY DESIGNS here: [link]

I'm still in school... ya, i'm taking courses over the summer! I must be crazy eh? It's actually not too bad. I only have 2 at the beginning of summer, and one near the end. I'm also working again (hurray!). This time I'm working at the University! I get to be in a nice climate controlled environment and work at a desk! It's a pretty sweet deal compared to getting tramped by dogs at my last job! I also get paid a decent amount considering it's a student job! The only downside is i'm covering for another student who is traveling for part of the summer. Once she's back I basically get the boot!

On a brighter note, the classes I'm taking bring me THISMUCH closer to finishing my psych degree! Only a few classes left!! Now I just have to decide whether I want to fill up the remainder of my required credits with another major or electives. I'm leaning towards another major. Possibly in media arts.

I'm also moving again shortly! I can't WAIT to get out of the apartment I'm in and back into a house! It will be GREAT for the dogs.. or at least for my lazy side because they will have a backyard again! No more 10 stories of stairs or driving to the dog park 2 times a day! ... Currently that's our routine because the people in my building seem to hate dogs!

Speaking of new things, it seems I find myself looking for a new vehicle! I totaled mine in an accident on May 3rd!!! Poor car and poor princess!! Princess is one of my dogs and she injured her leg in the accident! She's still limping around! For now my parents have been kind enough to let me get around in their vehicles! I think when the summer is done I'll look into getting some wheels of my own again! This time I'm thinking TRUCK!!! hehe... i'm so country

Since it's a lot less time consuming to upload pix to facebook and flickr ([link]), my most recent pix will end up there. Right now i don't have the time to keep up my deviantART page to the degrade i would like to, which is pretty obvious from the lack of updates! I will add pieces to this account here and there (particularly pieces that don't fit neatly into my flickr catergories or if i've used all my uploading capacity for the month at flickr) Sorry to those who don't use facebook, but you will still get a good "eye full" at flickr. Hopefully I'll find the time at some point to clean up my gallery and upload more. Please also note that I have a photography blog of sorts that can be found here: [link]

I'm back to school in the fall, although I've transfered to a different university. I'm still studying psychology, but I have changed my art minor to a major. That means I'll have two majors: psychology and visual arts (studio). The majority of the upcoming year will be spent on psychology classes as most of my art credits are not transferring (therefore i can't sign up for upper year level class until i do the introductory level classes....again!). I'll have one studio art course that runs the length of the school year and one art history course that also runs for that long. The rest of my classes are one semester psych classes. My third year will probably be bulked up with art classes. This will be a good thing because I like change. After another year of totally focusing on psych it will be nice to get more art into the schedule. My fourth year will probably be an equal balance of both subjects.

I'm moving in a month as well! I have a lot of my stuff packed in boxes still from the last time i moved so the move should be pretty easy! This time i think I'm going to go threw all the extra boxes so i don't keep moving unopened boxes of stuff i haven't seen in years!

I'm excited about all the changes that are happening and trying not to get too pumped until things get closer. As my night classes are now done for the summer, I'm finding a bit more time to be creative! The unfortunate news is that I will be without my camera until late August.... the fortunate news is that because I'm without my camera I'm able to focus on editing and playing around with all the pictures I've taken in the past. I'll try to upload anything interesting or worth sharing.

UPDATE: It appears that i used up my capacity at Flickr for the month rather quickly . I'll post a few piece here until i can upload on flickr again. and btw, i am loving flickr

ack.. i can't believe it's been so long!!!!
.... well.... i still don't have much to update..
and i certainly don't have the time right now...
but at least i'm aware now that i need an update..
that's the first step haha

didn't that make you sigh?... i think it's a beautiful video. i haven't checked out the shoes, but they make a darn good commerical haha.

soooo,, i did it.. i joined facebook *hangs head in shame* I KNOW! I KNOW!!.. i cracked!... this dorm living is having an effect on me! ... i must say tho that it's much prettier than myspace!

well,,, since i'd go crazy if all i did was study and do homework i've been busy getting fundraisers and awareness projects rolling at work (www.oxfordspca.on.ca). things seem to be going rather well. jason is a HUGE help every weekend and i've recently renamed him KING OF THE FERRETS! haha.. we had 29 come in all together and they are now taking up my office!.. i've been kicked out by the little bandits haha.. they are so aweosme though, i love those little stinkers to bits!

i've also been practicing my letter writing skills! i've been writing to companies that are STILL testing on animals and companies that refuse to put humane practices into place for our animals friends. did you know by helping reduce animal abuse you're helping to reduce domestic violence too? but of these issues are causes that are dear to my heart and i'm taking steps to see change. read up on the issues... check out the programs that the OSPCA has in place (www.ospca.on.ca) for Ontario,, or check out the ASPCA if you're from the states. and of course PETA is always up to something. they are a good place for resources such as who's still testing on animals and such.

well, i think i better get down to studying, or at least doing something that's productive!

ps... i might be the new youth director at a church in dundas.. i'll keep you posted... well i'll try to keep you posted but we all know how bad i am at updating this journal haha.
